Invitation to Move

February 21/10am to 12Noon | Invitation to Move
A Dance Playshop for Every Body

You are warmly invited into a gentle, playful, and deeply human movement experience — no dance background required.

Invitation to Move is a guided dance playshop rooted in listening, choice, and connection. This gathering is designed for every body and every season of life, with a strong emphasis on moving at your own pace and honoring what feels right for you.

Participants will be guided through simple, accessible movement explorations, using rhythm, sensation, and curiosity to reconnect us with our bodies and one another. There is no choreography to memorize and nothing to perform. Instead, we’ll explore movement as conversation, expression, and play.
What to expect:
• Choose-your-own-adventure movement — standing, seated, or anywhere in between
• Chairs and seated movement fully welcomed and supported
• Gentle guided movement prompts that can be adapted to your body
• Optional partner and group activations focused on awareness and connection
• Time for open dancing — free, unstructured, and self-directed
This is not a fitness class and not a performance space. It is a shared exploration — a place to move, rest, observe, participate, or simply be present. You are encouraged to listen to your body, take breaks, modify movements, or sit out at any time. All forms of participation are valid.

Come as you are. Move how you can.
Let curiosity lead you, and let the body do the remembering.
